This site is a tribute to Stephen Large. He is much loved and will always be remembered for making people laugh, his inappropriate humour and big heart. He'll be loved, cherished and remembered forever.

Steve didn’t want people to wear black to his funeral so any smart, coloured clothing is fine. He also asked that rather than being gifted flowers, he preferred for donations to be made to When you wish upon a star.

Steve, my overriding memories of you all involve you making me laugh. As a child going round to Mel's was always fun with you around, with the endless jokes, teasing and pranks! You were a kind, funny and warm soul, rest in peace x

Mr Large, what can I say my dear friend, we had some absolutely cracking times together and the ward will never be the same without you, you always took the time to have good old gossip and a laugh when things were becoming stressful and your one-liners always seemed to cheer me up. You made me feel like I was doing a great job, even if I thought I wasn't and if I was ever upset or angry, just having a chat with you made it bearable.
